Lot's of Good Stuff Happening

So with the band on the mend from the plethora of illnesses that had beset them things are getting back on track.  Last week Bobby Ingals met with Clint Niccum in studio to record rough vocal tracks for three songs to be added to SHED's expanding set list.  This week Bobby met with David Jones to record rough bass tracks for the same three songs.  Look to see Jack the Ripper, Tunnel Vision, and Middle Ground added to the regular set rotation very soon.

Full rehearsals are scheduled to resume next week and the band is eager to tear into the new material and get the set list ready to go for their upcoming show at the State Street Pub on February 16th.  Despite the band being off since their last show on 12-29-2018 everyone has been busy on their own working individual parts and writing with no end in sight.  All that remains to be done for the Summer Flannel album is to record bass tracks and do the final mixing.  A seemingly unstoppable stream of material is pouring forth and plans are in place for a second, as of yet unnamed, album of new material to be released later this year.  Fans are hereby invited to participate in the process of naming the second album by posting their submissions to the SHED Facebook page.

The band is eager to finish up Summer Flannel and get started on recording the newest material that they have been writing.  Concurrent with writing and recording new material is the band's focus on the summer concert schedule.  If you would like to see SHED play at a venue or festival near you let them know and they will see what they can do.

Post Show Happenings

The show at the State Street Pub was simply amazing.   Out of the Tempest opened up the evening and delivered a solid show as always. SHED looks to be playing with these guys again very soon.  Despite its modest appearance the State Street Pub boasts a very competent sound man and excellent sound reinforcement making for a top-notch live music experience for everyone.

Even with several band members feeling under the weather SHED filled the middle slot of the evening.  Old Revel Minds schooled everyone on how hard rock is supposed to be done.  Keep your eyes open for where they are playing again and make sure to go out and catch them live - totally worth it!

In the time since the State Street Pub concert most of SHED has been sick for several weeks with the flu, pneumonia, and sinus infections - pretty much whatever has been making the rounds with one member ending up in the hospital.  It has been a rough couple of weeks for everyone not just from being sick but also because the band lives to play.  No rehearsals during a time when the band is eager to add more material to the set list and get new material recorded has added insult to injury.

Now with the band on the mend live rehearsals are back on the books and the band is eager to get back to it.  Currently SHED has four new songs they are working on getting ready for their next show on February 16th, 2018 at the State Street Pub.  With exactly four rehearsals between now and the show it is going to be close but the band will do what they can to add some fresh material in for the show.

SHED will be headlining with Special Guests Calloused and Second Season; both from South Bend, Indiana.  These two bands are amazing and this is definitely a show you want to put on your calendar.  Here is a link for more show information.
